Very nice post. Thanks for sharing the list of Zoos in India. Spread over 130 acres, the Rajiv Gandhi Zoo is divided into 3 parts, viz. a zoo, a snake park and an animal shelter. The zoo initially started as a snake park and later expanded to include other animals. It boasts of a good collection of animals from different varieties of snakes, turtles and crocodiles to elephants, black bucks and leopards. The main attraction however is the white tiger kept here. There is a nice lake located within the zoo where you can also enjoy boating. The zoo usually sees a lot of footfall especially on weekends, so you should avoid those days. Plastics are banned and feeding the animals is also forbidden. Check out more about Rajiv Gandhi Zoological Park Pune.
